HOLLYWOOD, CA-- The MET Theatre is gearing up for a homecoming! Their main stage will soon play host to seven short plays written by current MET Company writers and MET Alumnus. The shorts festival called simply, 7 MET SHORTS, will feature seven world premiere pieces from Pulitzer Prize-winning authors like Beth Henley and Sam Shepard to well-known contemporaries like Susan Emshwiller and Tom Grimes, and finally writers-on-the-rise like Drew Brody, L. Flint Esquerra, and Joshua Rebell.
The brainchild of writer/producer Drew Brody, 7 MET SHORTS is a celebration of the accomplishments of the MET Theatre over the last thirty years.
“The MET is in its thirtieth season,” explains Brody, a current Company member, “There have been so many incredible writers and actors to pass through this space.
